Christianity's Rise

In the "City & State" section of the July 18, 1993 issue of the

Austin-American Statemen we had an article on Madalyn O'Hair

(American Atheists). It says:

"Thirty years after she helped kill prayer in public schools,

Madalyn O'Hair predicts a bleak future for atheism - and a

reversal of the school prayer ruling that catapulted her into

fame.

Pointing to a string of court and legislative defeats and the

rise of well-funded Christian fundamentalist movements, the

nation's preeminent atheist said she believes Christianity will

become, in essence, the official U.S. religion."

"I think that the window of opportunity for atheism has closed.

We will have a civic religion," O'Hair said.

The entire article talks about how she feels that she and her

son's 30 years of efforts we for nothing.

"When I see the March for Jesus that's only 4 years old here in

Austin, and they have 20,000 out in the street, whereas when we

were here for the convention, we got 300 or 400 out in the street

of Austin, Texas - you can't have that, " O'Hair said.

Then she goes on to discuss her death and the plans she and her

atheist son have for disposal of their remains.

I PRAISE GOD! THE ENEMY IS PUBLICLY ADMITTING DEFEAT! IT IS NOT

TIME TO FOR US TO SIT ON OUR HANDS ... IT IS TIME FOR MILLIONS

OF US TO MARCH ON WASHINGTON AND OUR STATE CAPITOLS AND TELL THE

POLITICIANS THAT WE DEMAND A RETURN TO DECENCY, ETHICS, AND

PRINCIPLES BASED ON THE WORD OF GOD! IT IS TIME TO STOP THE

AMERICAN HOLOCAUST OF MURDERING BABIES!

Onward Christian soldiers. The enemy has already been defeated

on the cross. Let us possess the land for the Kingdom of God.

We outnumber the children of darkness and with the power of the

Holy Spirit we are victorious! For to many decades the Children

of God and the Church have been silent under the auspices of

tolerance. God is NOT tolerant and we are to emulate HIM. Take

what is rightfully yours! Jesus paid the price ... lets not deny

His victory.
