Please discontinue (permanently) feeding 'ROCK'-ON-LINE echo to

SOUND DOCTRINE BBS.

Several sysops have either called or sent netmail to me to

express their anguish about the attacks made to them and to

their users by users of Sound Doctrine.

As of late, Doug Moore of CfC #11 has been kind enough to remove

some of the more offensive messages before they are networked

further east.

In as much as I had hoped my messages to ALL and everyone elses

reminders about what the echo is about and what should/could be

discussed on it would have made things clear, users of Sound

Doctrine have repeatedly ignored all our requests and continued

writing whatever they want.

On the other hand, please CONTINUE to feed the echo to THE QUEST

We demand that they respond to us in a Biblical manner.

And all SYSOPS should cancel their receiving of this echo

until such takes place. Otherwise why call yourself a

Christian echo.

[1] Scripture is clear that we should have received at least

two warnings.

[2] The second warning of course coming with two witnesses.

[3] The accusation that other Sysops have called her to

express their concern at our "attacks" must be proven!

Who are these men/women? What proof do they have? And

where is the love to give us a chance to repent? Where

is the grace to answer these individuals?

groups profess they have more of) to contact us about

the matter of repentance. What messages were unrespectful

and unloving? Where is the proof?

you remember? Now, since others are offended by a discussion

of scripture concerning CHRISTIAN MUSIC you want me to shut

up. So be it, I will post only positive songs and announcements.

You asked for the "FORUM" to start. By the way that is a very

biblical thing to want. You also wrote to me that "IT IS TIME

THESE PERTINENT MUSICAL

QUESTIONS AND IDEAS" are discussed. So we did. Then the fire

started to get too hot and you seem to want to please men

rather than God. And not only do that, but BLAME me for

causing the trouble!

Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of men,

or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying

to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

[6] Where is the proof of the Sysops we attacked?

Please provide names and messages where these

Sysops were attacked. Let us have a chance

to call them. Not to mention they should have

called us first.

[7] As one reads through the file it is extremely clear that

the message was not sent to "ALL". No one else

was chastised for the blatant slanderous attacks on us.

We discussed scripture in relationship to music and were

told to leave. They rip us apart and receive no message

from the moderator.

[8] Again, let it be repeated that we stopped posting

messages that went against Diane's opinion and agreed

to post only "positive" messages. Please demonstrate

how we (whoever "we" is) kept on attacking. We

answered questions some users had asked, but that was

the most. In fact, I haven't even been on the Rock-On

Line for almost 4 weeks. (This accusation is amazing)

Of course no messages were left to the users who

questioned the scriptures we left.

[9] In fact, we told others that kept asking us questions

that such questions were not allowed on this board.

It is not Sound Doctrine that should be kicked off but

those who continue to ask the questions and just enjoy

spreading false rumors about us. In fact we were so

maligned that when we said that we could not discuss

such issues on this message base we were accused of

"whining"!!

You're still whining, Tim.

� SHOULD EXPECT LOVE AND THE BIBLE �

 

As a SYSOP of a "Christian BBS" should we not expect the

Bible and love to be the foremost things present? Especially in

this matter of Christain music? For it is in this matter of

music that we are admonished to let the Word of God dwell in us

"richly".

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as

you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you

sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your

hearts to God."

All Christian Sysops should be highly concerned at the unbibical

nature of what is taking place here. They should voice their

concerns to the offending parties so that all can grow in

righteousness. If you remain silent and are more worried about

offending people then you are a source of the sin and

compromise. Again, I agreed to post only "positive" messages and

have held to it. There was no biblical reason for this action to

be taken. Show no favortism to any man and righteousness shall

once again be found in the church and on our BBSs. It is an

extremely sad situation when the discussion of scripture is no

longer allowed on "Christian" BBSs. We should all be extremely

alarmed at such quenching of the Spirit!

We regret deeply that this rebuke had to go public. But the sin

of others left us no choice.
