GOD'S MERCY

GEN 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I

will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of

man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every

thing living, as I have done.

GEN 18:26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the

city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

GEN 19:16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the

hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being

merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

EXO 15:13 Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed:

thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and

NEH 9:30 Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them

by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest

thou them into the hand of the people of the lands.

NEH 9:31 Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly

consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.

JOB 23:2 Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my

JOB 33:22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the

destroyers.

JOB 33:23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a

thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

JOB 33:24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down

to the pit: I have found a ransom.

JOB 33:25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the

days of his youth:

JOB 33:26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he

shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

JOB 33:27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted

that which was right, and it profited me not;

JOB 33:28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall

see the light.

JOB 33:29 Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,

JOB 33:30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light

of the living.

PSA 18:50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his

anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

PSA 25:6 Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for

they have been ever of old.

PSA 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping

JER 33:11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the

bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise

the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of

them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I

will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the

LORD.

JER 36:3 It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I

purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that

I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.

JER 50:20 In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the iniquity of

Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and

they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.

heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of

the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the

tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his

portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;

DAN 4:24 This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most

High, which is come upon my lord the king:

DAN 4:25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with

the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they

shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee,

till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to

whomsoever he will.

DAN 4:26 And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy

kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the

heavens do rule.

DAN 4:27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break

off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the

poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
