JOB 4:19 How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation

is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?

JOB 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty

giveth them understanding.

PSA 31:5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God

PRO 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward

ECC 1:8 All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not

mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

ROM 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this

death?

myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

1CO 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which

is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed

up of life.

2CO 5:5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also

hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

2CO 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home

in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

2CO 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

2CO 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body,

and to be present with the Lord.

2CO 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be

accepted of him.

EPH 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be

strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

EPH 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of

your calling;

1TH 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your

whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our

Lord Jesus Christ.

HEB 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any

twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of
