JUSTIFICATION
GEN 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for
righteousness.
PSA 32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in
whose spirit there is no guile.
PSA 71:16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy
righteousness, even of thine only.
PSA 89:16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness
shall they be exalted.
ISA 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify
the law, and make it honourable.
ISA 45:24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength:
even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be
ashamed.
ISA 46:12 Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness:
ISA 50:8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand
together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
ISA 51:5 My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms
shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they
trust.
ISA 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for
the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a
garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation
shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
ISA 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by
his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their
iniquities.
ISA 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue
that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the
heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith
the LORD.
ISA 56:1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my
salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
ISA 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my
God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me
with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
JER 23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and
this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
ZEC 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying,
Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have
caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of
raiment.
JOH 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth
on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
ACT 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which
ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
ROM 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of
God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to
the Greek.
ROM 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of
the law shall be justified.
ROM 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being
witnessed by the law and the prophets;
ROM 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto
all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
ROM 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in
Christ Jesus:
ROM 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his
blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,
through the forbearance of God;
ROM 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be
just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
ROM 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the
deeds of the law.
ROM 3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith,
and uncircumcision through faith.
ROM 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the
ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
ROM 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God
imputeth righteousness without works,
ROM 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins
are covered.
ROM 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
ROM 4:9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the
uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for
righteousness.
ROM 4:10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in
uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
ROM 4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness
of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father
of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness
might be imputed unto them also:
ROM 4:12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision
only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which
he had being yet uncircumcised.
ROM 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to
Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of
faith.
ROM 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the
promise made of none effect:
ROM 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no
transgression.
ROM 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the
promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but
to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
ROM 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before
him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those
things which be not as though they were.
ROM 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of
many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
ROM 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead,
when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's
womb:
ROM 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was
strong in faith, giving glory to God;
ROM 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also
to perform.
ROM 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
ROM 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
ROM 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him
that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
ROM 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our
justification.
ROM 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ:
ROM 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through him.
ROM 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom we have now received the atonement.
ROM 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment
was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto
justification.
ROM 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which
receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life
by one, Jesus Christ.)
ROM 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to
condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all
men unto justification of life.
ROM 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through
righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
ROM 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have
your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
ROM 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body
of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from
the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
ROM 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ
Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
ROM 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he
called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
ROM 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be
against us?
ROM 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that
justifieth.
ROM 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is
risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession
for us.
ROM 9:30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after
righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is
of faith.
ROM 9:31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not
attained to the law of righteousness.
ROM 9:32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the
works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
ROM 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that
believeth.
ROM 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the
man which doeth those things shall live by them.
ROM 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not
in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down
from above:)
ROM 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in
thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
ROM 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved.
ROM 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.
ROM 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be
ashamed.
1CO 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom,
and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1CO 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified,
but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our
God.
2CO 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself,
not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of
reconciliation.
2CO 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might
be made the righteousness of God in him.
GAL 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by
the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might
be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the
works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
GAL 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen
through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall
all nations be blessed.
GAL 3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
GAL 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there
had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should
have been by the law.
GAL 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by
faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
GAL 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that
we might be justified by faith.
GAL 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified
by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
GAL 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
GAL 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor
uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
EPH 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having
on the breastplate of righteousness;
PHI 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of
the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all
things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
COL 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
COL 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which
was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
TIT 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to
the hope of eternal life.
HEB 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain,
by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts:
and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
HEB 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was
not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had
this testimony, that he pleased God.
HEB 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh
to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him.
HEB 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved
with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned
the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
JAM 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
JAM 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered
Isaac his son upon the altar?
JAM 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith
made perfect?
JAM 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and
it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
JAM 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is
dead also.
