leaveth no food.
PRO 30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth
as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.
ECC 4:1 So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under
the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no
comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no
comforter.
ECC 5:8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of
judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is
higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.
ECC 7:7 Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the
heart.
ISA 1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the
fatherless, plead for the widow.
ISA 33:15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that

seeing evil;

of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
ISA 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of
wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and
that ye break every yoke?
JER 21:12 O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the
morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest

of your doings.
EZE 22:29 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery,
and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger
wrongfully.
EZE 45:9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel:
remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your
exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.
AMO 5:11 Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take
from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not
dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine
of them.
AMO 5:12 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they
afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate
from their right.
AMO 8:4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the
land to fail,
AMO 8:5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the
sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel
great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
AMO 8:6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes;
yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot
be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all
people:
HAB 2:6 Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting
proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his!
how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
HAB 2:7 Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that
shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?
