GEN 32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the

breaking of the day.

GEN 32:25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the

hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he

wrestled with him.

GEN 32:26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not

HEB 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto

children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when

thou art rebuked of him:

HEB 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom

he receiveth.

HEB 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what

son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

HEB 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are

ye bastards, and not sons.

HEB 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and

we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the

Father of spirits, and live?

HEB 12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure;

but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

HEB 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:

nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto

them which are exercised thereby.

HEB 12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

HEB 12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be

turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

HEB 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any

root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

HEB 13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a

good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have

not profited them that have been occupied therein.

HEB 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his

reproach.

JAM 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and

entire, wanting nothing.

JAM 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he

shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love

2PE 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the

everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2PE 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest

ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own

stedfastness.

2PE 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus

1JO 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been

of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they

might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

1JO 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye
