THE DEATH OF JESUS
GEN 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed
and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
PSA 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from
helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
PSA 22:13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring
lion.
PSA 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed
me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
PSA 22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
PSA 34:20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
PSA 69:21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me
vinegar to drink.
PSA 69:26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the
grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
PSA 109:25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they
shaked their heads.
ISA 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off
the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
ISA 52:14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any
man, and his form more than the sons of men:
ISA 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did
esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
ISA 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we
are healed.
ISA 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his
own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
ISA 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth:
he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is
dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
ISA 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the
transgression of my people was he stricken.
ISA 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death;
because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
ISA 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when
thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall
prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
ISA 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by
his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their
iniquities.
ISA 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall
divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto
death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.
DAN 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city,
to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make
reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to
seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
DAN 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not
for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city
and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end
of the war desolations are determined.
ZEC 9:11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy
prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
ZEC 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all
the nations that come against Jerusalem.
ZEC 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me
whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his
only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for
his firstborn.
ZEC 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and
to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
ZEC 13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then
he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
ZEC 13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my
fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be
scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
MAT 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so
shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
MAT 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there
shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left
them, and departed.
MAT 16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that
he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief
priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
MAT 17:12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him
not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son
of man suffer of them.
MAT 17:13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the
Baptist.
MAT 17:22 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man
shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
MAT 17:23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again.
And they were exceeding sorry.
MAT 20:17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in
the way, and said unto them,
MAT 20:18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed
unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to
death,
MAT 20:19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to
crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
MAT 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to
minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
MAT 21:33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted
a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a
tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
MAT 21:34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the
husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
MAT 21:35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed
another, and stoned another.
MAT 21:36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto
them likewise.
MAT 21:37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will
reverence my son.
MAT 21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This
is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
MAT 21:39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
MAT 26:2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son
of man is betrayed to be crucified.
MAT 26:18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The
Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my
disciples.
MAT 26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man
by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not
been born.
MAT 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for
the remission of sins.
MAT 26:39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed,
saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless
not as I will, but as thou wilt.
MAT 26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father,
if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
MAT 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall
presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
MAT 26:54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
MAR 8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many
things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes,
and be killed, and after three days rise again.
MAR 9:31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is
delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is
killed, he shall rise the third day.
MAR 10:33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be
delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn
him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:
MAR 10:34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon
him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
LUK 2:34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this
child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign
which shall be spoken against;
LUK 9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the
elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
LUK 9:44 Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall
be delivered into the hands of men.
LUK 9:51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received
up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,
LUK 12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened
till it be accomplished!
LUK 17:25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this
generation.
LUK 22:15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this
passover with you before I suffer:
LUK 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them,
saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
LUK 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new
testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
LUK 22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be
accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things
concerning me have an end.
LUK 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:
nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
LUK 24:26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his
glory?
JOH 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the
Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
JOH 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the
Son of man be lifted up:
JOH 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal
life.
JOH 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
JOH 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that
the world through him might be saved.
JOH 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of
this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh,
which I will give for the life of the world.
JOH 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the
sheep.
JOH 10:15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down
my life for the sheep.
JOH 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I
might take it again.
JOH 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power
to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I
received of my Father.
JOH 11:49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same
year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
JOH 11:50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for
the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
JOH 11:51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he
prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
JOH 11:52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together
in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
JOH 12:7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she
kept this.
JOH 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the
ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
JOH 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world
be cast out.
JOH 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
JOH 12:33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.
JOH 12:34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ
abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is
this Son of man?
JOH 13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the
scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel
against me.
JOH 13:19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may
believe that I am he.
JOH 13:21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified,
and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
JOH 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me:
because I live, ye shall live also.
JOH 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for
his friends.
JOH 16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but
the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be
turned into joy.
JOH 18:5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he.
And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
JOH 18:8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me,
let these go their way:
JOH 18:11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup
which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
JOH 19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except
it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the
greater sin.
ACT 5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a
tree.
ACT 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour,
for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
ACT 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the
which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which
he hath purchased with his own blood.
ACT 26:22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day,
witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which
the prophets and Moses did say should come:
ACT 26:23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that
should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the
Gentiles.
ROM 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in
Christ Jesus:
ROM 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his
blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,
through the forbearance of God;
ROM 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our
justification.
ROM 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the
ungodly.
ROM 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a
good man some would even dare to die.
ROM 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
ROM 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through him.
ROM 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death
of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
ROM 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom we have now received the atonement.
ROM 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were
baptized into his death?
ROM 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as
Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life.
ROM 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we
shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
ROM 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death
hath no more dominion over him.
ROM 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he
liveth unto God.
ROM 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,
God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned
sin in the flesh:
ROM 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how
shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
ROM 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is
risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession
for us.
ROM 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
ROM 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might
be Lord both of the dead and living.
ROM 14:15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not
charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
1CO 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with
wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
1CO 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but
unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
1CO 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and
unto the Greeks foolishness;
1CO 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power
of God, and the wisdom of God.
1CO 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ,
and him crucified.
1CO 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye
are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1CO 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body,
and in your spirit, which are God's.
1CO 8:11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom
Christ died?
1CO 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how
that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1CO 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according
to the scriptures:
2CO 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the
life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
2CO 4:11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that
the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
2CO 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if
one died for all, then were all dead:
2CO 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth
live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2CO 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself,
not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of
reconciliation.
2CO 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might
be made the righteousness of God in him.
2CO 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was
rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be
rich.
GAL 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this
present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
GAL 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of
the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
GAL 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse
for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
GAL 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made
of a woman, made under the law,
GAL 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the
adoption of sons.
EPH 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us
accepted in the beloved.
EPH 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of his grace;
EPH 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by
the blood of Christ.
EPH 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the
middle wall of partition between us;
EPH 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments
contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making
peace;
EPH 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross,
having slain the enmity thereby:
EPH 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself
for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
EPH 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and
gave himself for it;
EPH 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the
word,
EPH 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without
blemish.
PHI 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became
obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
COL 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of
sins:
COL 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every
creature:
1TH 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead,
even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1TH 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also
which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1TH 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our
Lord Jesus Christ,
1TH 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live
together with him.
1TI 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
TIT 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity,
and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
HEB 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his
person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by
himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
HEB 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the
suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God
should taste death for every man.
HEB 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all
things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation
perfect through sufferings.
HEB 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he
also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy
him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
HEB 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime
subject to bondage.
HEB 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to
succour them that are tempted.
HEB 7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice,
first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he
offered up himself.
HEB 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he
entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
HEB 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer
sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
HEB 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead
works to serve the living God?
HEB 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by
means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the
first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance.
HEB 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of
the testator.
HEB 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no
strength at all while the testator liveth.
HEB 9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest
entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
HEB 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the
world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by
the sacrifice of himself.
HEB 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them
that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
HEB 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body
of Jesus Christ once for all.
HEB 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever,
sat down on the right hand of God;
HEB 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are
sanctified.
HEB 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
HEB 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
HEB 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the
blood of Jesus,
HEB 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through
the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
HEB 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the
joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set
down at the right hand of the throne of God.
HEB 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of
sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
HEB 13:11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the
sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
HEB 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own
blood, suffered without the gate.
1PE 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through
sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of
Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
1PE 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible
things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition
from your fathers;
1PE 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish
and without spot:
1PE 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but
was manifest in these last times for you,
1PE 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and
gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
1PE 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
1PE 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we,
being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were
healed.
1PE 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust,
that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by
the Spirit:
1PE 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm
yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh
hath ceased from sin;
1JO 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship
one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all
sin.
1JO 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but
also for the sins of the whole world.
1JO 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for
us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
1JO 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent
his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
REV 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first
begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that
loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
REV 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and
to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by
thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
REV 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive
power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and
blessing.
REV 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are
they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made
them white in the blood of the Lamb.
REV 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are
not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the
world.
