FALSE DOCTRINE
MAT 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and
shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but
whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom
of heaven.
MAT 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the
commandments of men.
ROM 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and
offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
ROM 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own
belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
1CO 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus
Christ.
1CO 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
1CO 11:18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that
there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
1CO 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are
approved may be made manifest among you.
2CO 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of
sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
2CO 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in
Christ.
2CO 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not
preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or
another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
GAL 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the
grace of Christ unto another gospel:
GAL 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would
pervert the gospel of Christ.
GAL 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto
you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
EPH 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried
about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
COL 2:4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
COL 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after
the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
COL 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and
worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen,
vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
COL 2:19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands
having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase
of God.
COL 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world,
why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
COL 2:21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
COL 2:22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and
doctrines of men?
COL 2:23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and
humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the
flesh.
1TI 1:3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into
Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
1TI 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister
questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
1TI 1:6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
1TI 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they
say, nor whereof they affirm.
1TI 1:19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away
concerning faith have made shipwreck:
1TI 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall
depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1TI 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot
iron;
1TI 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God
hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the
truth.
1TI 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather
unto godliness.
1TI 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even
the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to
godliness;
1TI 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of
words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
1TI 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the
truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1TI 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane
and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
1TI 6:21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with
thee. Amen.
2TI 2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord
that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the
hearers.
2TI 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more
ungodliness.
2TI 2:17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and
Philetus;
2TI 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is
past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
2TI 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive
silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2TI 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2TI 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the
truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
2TI 3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest
unto all men, as theirs also was.
2TI 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and
being deceived.
2TI 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but
after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching
ears;
TIT 3:10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition
reject;
TIT 3:11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being
condemned of himself.
HEB 13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a
good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have
not profited them that have been occupied therein.
2PE 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there
shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift
destruction.
2PE 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way
of truth shall be evil spoken of.
2PE 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise
of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation
slumbereth not.
2PE 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin;
beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices;
cursed children:
2PE 2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the
way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
2PE 2:16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's
voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
2PE 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest;
to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
2PE 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure
through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean
escaped from them who live in error.
2PE 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of
corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
1JO 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the
flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have
heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
2JO 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
2JO 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ,
hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father
and the Son.
2JO 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bringtnot this doctrine, receive him
not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2JO 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
JUD 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old or
ained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into
lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
JUD 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran
greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of
Core.
