ZEAL
JOS 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day
whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the
other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:
but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
2SA 24:24 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee
at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that
which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for
fifty shekels of silver.
2SA 24:25 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt
offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the
plague was stayed from Israel.
1KI 9:4 And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in
integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have
commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:
1KI 15:14 But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was
perfect with the LORD all his days.
1CH 29:17 I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in
uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly
offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are
present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
2CH 15:15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their
heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the
LORD gave them rest round about.
2CH 19:3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast
taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek
God.
EZR 7:23 Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently
done for the house of the God of heaven: for why should there be wrath against
the realm of the king and his sons?
JOB 16:19 Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.
PSA 42:1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after
thee, O God.
PSA 42:2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and
appear before God?
PSA 60:4 Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be
displayed because of the truth. Selah.
PSA 96:2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day
to day.
PSA 96:3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
PSA 96:10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be
established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
PSA 119:139 My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy
words.
PRO 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth
souls is wise.
ECC 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is
no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou
goest.
ISA 58:12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou
shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called,
The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
ISA 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is
risen upon thee.
ISA 62:6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never
hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not
silence,
ISA 62:7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a
praise in the earth.
DAN 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament;
and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
MIC 5:7 And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew
from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor
waiteth for the sons of men.
HAB 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain
upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
HAG 2:4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O
Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the
land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
HAG 2:5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of
Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
ZEC 14:20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS
UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before
the altar.
ZEC 14:21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the
LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and
seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the
house of the LORD of hosts.
MAT 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour,
wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast
out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
MAT 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be
hid.
MAT 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a
candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
MAT 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
LUK 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou
art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
LUK 22:33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into
prison, and to death.
JOH 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which
endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for
him hath God the Father sealed.
JOH 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night
cometh, when no man can work.
ACT 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it
is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
ACT 26:29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that
hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these
bonds.
ROM 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith
is spoken of throughout the whole world.
ROM 1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his
Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
ROM 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
ROM 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
1CO 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the
leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and
truth.
1CO 7:29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both
they that have wives be as though they had none;
1CO 7:30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as
though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;
1CO 7:31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of
this world passeth away.
1CO 7:32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth
for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
1CO 7:33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world,
how he may please his wife.
1CO 7:34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried
woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and
in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she
may please her husband.
1CO 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give
my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
1CO 14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that
ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
1CO 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always
abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not
in vain in the Lord.
2CO 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed,
but not in despair;
2CO 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
2CO 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the
life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
2CO 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I
believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
2CO 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet
the inward man is renewed day by day.
2CO 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a
far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
2CO 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things
which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things
which are not seen are eternal.
2CO 7:11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort,
what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what
indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea,
what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this
matter.
2CO 9:2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to
them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked
very many.
GAL 4:18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and
not only when I am present with you.
GAL 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap,
if we faint not.
EPH 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
EPH 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having
on the breastplate of righteousness;
EPH 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
EPH 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to
quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
EPH 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which
is the word of God:
EPH 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and
watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
EPH 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my
mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
EPH 6:20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak
boldly, as I ought to speak.
PHI 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ:
that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs,
that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith
of the gospel;
PHI 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an
evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
PHI 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without
rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as
lights in the world;
PHI 3:4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man
thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
PHI 3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of
Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
PHI 3:6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness
which is in the law, blameless.
PHI 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
PHI 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of
the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all
things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
PHI 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the
law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is
of God by faith:
PHI 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the
fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
PHI 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
PHI 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but
I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of
Christ Jesus.
PHI 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I
do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those
things which are before,
PHI 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in
Christ Jesus.
PHI 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the
Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
COL 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
TIT 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity,
and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
TIT 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey
magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
HEB 10:34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the
spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better
and an enduring substance.
HEB 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they
came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
HEB 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore
God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
HEB 11:24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the
son of Pharaoh's daughter;
HEB 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to
enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
HEB 11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in
Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
HEB 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he
endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
HEB 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his
reproach.
HEB 13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
HEB 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God
continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
JAM 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
JAM 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of
his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
1PE 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow
thereby:
2PE 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent
that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
JUD 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common
salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye
should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
JUD 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
JUD 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even
the garment spotted by the flesh.
REV 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and
repent.
REV 5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read
the book, neither to look thereon.
REV 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the
tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose
the seven seals thereof.
