BASIC R.C. BELIEF

This festival, on November 1, is a Holyday of Obligation and commemorates

all saints, canonized and uncanonized, known and unknown. By proper

reception of the Sacrament of Penance and Holy Eucharist around this time,

the faithful may gain a plenary indulgence for souls in Purgatory.
