friends, Rufinus (1. ii. c. i. p. 449) and Palladius (Hist.
Lausiac. c. 43, p. 738), in Rosweyde's great Collection of
the Vitae Patrum. Tillemont (Mem. Eccles. tom. x. p. 718,
720) has settled the chronology.
