rewards her with the priesthood of the Phrygian goddess at
Pessinus (Julian. Epist. xxi. [p. 389]). He applauds the
firmness of Sopater of Hierapolis, who had been repeatedly
pressed by Constantius and Gallus to apostatise (Epist.
xxvii. p. 401)
